Cassie, Christmas 2011

I look forward to this time of year for so many reasons:  one, I love to give presents.  Two, I love how towns look when driving through at twilight and all of the twinkle lights have been turned on.  Three, I love eggnog, especially the “adult” kind (as my dad’s family used to call it).  Four…well, I could just go on and on…

I also have been blessed to photograph this special little girl for her parents’ holiday card for the last three years.  Year four did not disappoint!  Her mom, Jana, one of my closest and dearest, is a very gifted artist and art director.  Often I come ready to photograph and she’s dreamed up these great props and outfits for Cassie.  My favorite this year has to have been the earmuffs!  Enjoy all, and for all of those who are Jana’s friends, keep an eye out for those very special holiday time cards!

The holiday spirit and giving…

You all are amazing!  I really want to do something that says “Thank You” when you send others my way, so here it goes:

For my current* clients – When you suggest my services to your friends and family and they decide to book with me, guess what?!  That’s right: I am going to give you all a $200 product/print credit.   What can $200 get you all?  Well, it can go towards

  • More than 50 “Save the Date”or “Thank You” postcards
  • 10 Mini Accordion books (with protective sleeve), which would be a great gift to bridesmaids and groomsmen
  • 8, 11 x 14 prints that would be great as holiday gifts

For my past clients** – When you suggest my services to your friends and family and they decided to book, you all get something, too!  I want to stay in touch, so let’s do a portrait/family session, on me!  After we find some free time and a convenient place, let me do what I do best: photograph the heck out of you!  Along with the session and online viewing, you can choose either:

  • 1, high resolution file with all reproduction rights OR
  • 4, 11 x 14 prints

I hope this sounds as good as I think it is.  Why don’t we chat about some of the additional details*** over some coffee and, perhaps, a sweet.  So get the word out so I can play Santa this season and hand out some gifts!

Lindsay and Evan in Cleveland Circle

Back into the rhythm of things after that CRAZY snowstorm and my power outage.  I felt like I was back in my childhood home of Utica/New Hartford in upstate New York!  Snow for Halloween isn’t so unusual there.

Up now is a great Sunday afternoon session with Lindsay and Evan.  I absolutely LOVE how the two of them look at each other…it’s like no one else exists when they’re near each other.  A special thanks to Evan for giving up Sunday football to come shoot pictures.  Of course, gazing at and kissing his gorgeous fiancee was definitely a treat for him, so I think he was okay.  Add in the adorable new puppy and a dinner at Tasca for the two of them and I think you could say a lovely day was had all around!

Molly and Dana in Newburyport

I had such a fun time with these two…HUGE Patriots fans (as you can see) and even bigger fans of each other!  Maudslay State Park in Newburyport was such a great find and I so appreciate the two of them introducing me to the lovely grounds.  I can’t wait to make it back there for another shoot!  Congrats Molly and Dana and I look forward to working with the two of you again, soon!

A Sneak Peek of Dana and Molly’s Engagement Session…

It was a fun morning at Maudsley State Park in Newburyport.  Take a peek at a couple of images the three of us created!
